Participating in The Lebanon Campaign
The Arab
Group for the Protection of Nature (APN) would like to thank the
Lebanese Committee and the Lebanese Embassy in Amman, Jordan for their
great efforts in the campaign of Lebanon donations. APN would also like
to thank every person, association and company who contributed in this
campaign. This campaign will continue to support our people in Lebanon.
APN is contributing with the Lebanese Embassy and the Lebanese Committee
in Amman, to provide relief aid to the Lebanese people who have been
displaced as a result of the Zionist violence against our people in
Lebanon.
APN has been extensively in contact with associations and organizations
in Lebanon and received the needed and urgent items that will be sent.
The Lebanese NGOs and the Red Cross in Lebanon participated with the
cooperation of the Relief Higher Committee to send the relief aid to the
Lebanese Health Ministry. APN has also sent some relief aids directly to
the needy people in order to avoid the expected beaurocracy.
The aids were transferred from all Aramex branches, the Lebanese
Embassy, and Young Women Christian Association (YWCA) to Aramex storages
in Sahab. So far, eight trucks were loaded with relief aids and had been
sent to Lebanon. Efforts are highly appreciated for the volunteers who
helped in sending the aids and for everyone who contributed in this work
and used his own car to transfer the relief aids.
