Hussein Gardens Activity
The Arab Group for
the Protection of Nature received an invitation from the Jordanian Royal
Movie Corporation to participate in the activities held in support of
the children of Palestine, Iraq and Lebanon on 17 August 2006 in Al
Hussein Gardens in Amman. The Activities included candle lighting for
the martyred children in the three countries, in addition to musical
performances reflecting the heritage and culture of these countries and
other parts where a group of children sang songs expressing themes
related to the torment experienced by the Lebanese, Palestinian and
Iraqi children. Also, movies depicting the ordeal of the children were
presented on large television screens.
