Lecture on
“American Policies and Mythical Predictions”
The Arab Group for the
Protection of Nature organized on 20 August a lecture titled (The
American Policies and Mythical Predictions) delivered by Eng. Maher Elia
Khoury.
The lecture addressed the reasons behind the boundless support America
provides to the Zionist existence in Palestine. It revealed that this
stance is prompted by specific predictions derived from the Old
Testament. The authenticity of such predictions is not conceded by a
majority of Catholic and Orthodox Christians. Eng. Khoury called upon
the Jordanian Government to restrict the licenses granted to the
religious missions coming from outside Jordan because they call for
doctrines that are alien to the Christian Arab society and its culture
and belief. They also conceal their covert support to Zionism. Eng.
Khouri voiced the total support of Eastern Christians to the Arab causes
in the Arab-Israeli conflict and confirmed the Christians’ belonging to
the Arab Nation.
The lecture was interposed by an ascetic dinner and documentary movie on
the same theme where the entire income of this activity was dedicated
for the consolidation of the resistance of the Lebanese and
Palestinians. The television director, Mr. Mohamad Al Attar, conducted a
lengthy discussion at the end of the lecture, during which Ms. Nihaya
Dabdoub acted as the introducer.
