APN Launches the ‘Revival of the Land’ Project | The Arab Group for the Protection of Nature

APN signed an agreement with the Palestinian Farmers Union to implement the project, "Revival of the Land" for the cultivation of more than 22,500 fruit trees as part the 3rd Million Tree Campaign in Palestine.

The project targets the cities of Jerusalem, Salfit, Tubas, Jericho, Tulkarm, Jenin, Ramallah, Bethlehem, Hebron, and the Gaza Strip. It aims to increase the income of farmers and enhance steadfastness especially in lands threatened by confiscation.The first activities for the "Revival of the land" project were launched in partnership with the Right to Land Coalition and the Stop the Wall Campaign.  

3,500 olive trees were planted to benefit 36 farmers in a number of Palestinian villages including Deir Ballut , Zububa, Hajez  Samra , Al hadeedia,  Kafr a Dik , Deir Ghosoun , Akraba , Susia and Sebastia.For More photos:
