The Arab Group for the Protection of Nature renewed its awareness activities linked to the “Only If You Know Campaign” with four environmental lectures, the first one on Tuesday 25/10/2016 which targeted Grade 8 and 9 students at the Brighter Horizon Academy.

Volunteer Firas Qatanani presented both a theoretical and practical lecture on how to plant and grow mushrooms at home. On Thursday 3/11/2016, APN presented an introductory lecture on its programs for students In the Engineering faculty in the University of Jordan. Volunteer Lamis Abu Aziza and APN Project manager Mohamad Qtaishat, gave the lecture and the discussion focused on ways students can increase their involvement in environmental projects. On 6/11/2016 APN Manager Mariam Al jaajaa was invited by the Palestine Solidarity Association of Sweden to Larsa Hotel in Amman to give a talk to civil society representatives from the Palestinian diaspora on way to integrate environmental principles and activities in their work. The Arab Group for the Protection of Nature also organized an awareness lecture on Wednesday 9/12/2016 about environmental challenges in Jordan and Palestine to Grade 10 students in the Islamic Educational College in Jubeiha.  The lecture was presented by Mohamad Qtaishat in coordination with APN volunteer Rama Asfour .
