In a lively and idea-rich atmosphere, APN delivered a lecture titled “Green Resistance” at The Idea Chamber, attended by a wide range of activists and individuals interested in environmental and agricultural issues.
During the session, we spoke to food sovereignty as a means of liberation and discussed the role of agriculture in building independent, self-sufficient communities. We also traced the history of agriculture in the Arab world as a civilizational foundation that embeds the deep connection between people and their land. With this, we poised a central question: How does every seed sown carry the potential for resistance?
Participants added that green resistance is not a slogan but a way of life – one that follows environmental justice, food sovereignty, and a future in which both people and the land can thrive together.
