APN, in partnership with Agrimatco and the Asayel Badr Association, planted 100 fruit trees in Badr as part of our Green Caravan programme, advancing our mission to enhance the livelihoods of smallholder farmers, increase their production capacity, and strengthen local food production in the long term.
The activity was implemented in cooperation with the Asayel Badr Association, in a model that reflects the importance of collaboration between private sector institutions and local communities in serving the agricultural sector and supporting farmers. These trees are expected to absorb approximately 2,170 kilograms of carbon dioxide.
For over two decades, the Green Caravan programme has worked alongside smallholder farmers across Jordan to plant fruit trees and expand agricultural infrastructure, boosting local production and reinforcing the bond between farmers and their land.
