As part of its commitment to social and environmental responsibility, the Amman International Film Festival supported the planting of 100 fruit trees through our Green Caravan programme. The trees were planted on the land of a small-scale farmer in the Iraq Al-Amir region.

The initiative saw the enthusiastic participation of 30 volunteers from the “Jaddi Kanaan” initiative who offered their time and dedicated effort. In collaboration with the Asayel Badr Association, the volunteers worked to root their efforts in the land, community and a future that serves both social and ecological wellbeing.
