In a gesture that wove together the nurturing spirit of mothers and the generosity of a land that refuses to bow to colonial greed, APN planted 480 fruit trees across several Palestinian villages through its “Mother’s Day” campaign.
Launched in honor of mothers in Palestine and abroad, this initiative channels love into life-affirming agriculture, fortifying food sovereignty in the face of occupation, land confiscation, and daily threats to farmers’ livelihoods.
The trees, including olives, stone fruits, and citrus, were carefully chosen to match the needs of local farmers and the ecology of the land. Each seedling takes root with resistance. Each grove, a living declaration of belonging.
These photos are from the initiative’s first planting event, with many more to come. In the next phases, mothers themselves will take part in cultivating the land, sowing seeds of steadfastness and hope across Palestine.
