Hassan Al Jaajaa, APN Agricultural Advisor, affirmed that the ongoing wars in the region represent a decisive juncture in the course of a long struggle, waged by the colonial West—directly and indirectly through the Zionist entity—with the aim of redrawing the map of regional influence to serve its own interests.

In a speech delivered during a meeting organized by the International League of Peoples’ Struggles (ILPS) on developments in the region, he noted that, despite the setback posed by recent events in Syria, the region still retains key strategic advantages: a large population, vast geographical expanse, and the deep-rooted popular connection to the cause.

He held the Zionist entity responsible for the latest escalation with Iran, stressing that its aggression has opened the door to a direct confrontation that will be difficult to contain. He added that its bet on internal Iranian divisions has failed, just as it previously failed in Lebanon.

He concluded with a call for steadfastness and for reorganizing the ranks, predicting waves of migration from within the occupation, and affirming that the indigenous peoples of the region alone are capable of standing firm in the face of wars—as they have done throughout history.
