APN led an interactive session at Amman National School, bringing together 85 fifth-grade students who shared their own experiences of gardening at both school and home.

In a standout moment, one student reflected on how their perception of agriculture had shifted, sharing that they had not liked it previously but came to see its importance after the session.

We also introduced the concepts of green resistance and food sovereignty, highlighting the role of agriculture in protecting our food systems. Building on this, we explained the difference between food security and food sovereignty in a clear, accessible way suited to the students’ age group.
