APN | Jenin
14 June 2026
As the Israeli occupation unleashes repeated attacks across villages in Jenin, protecting agricultural land remains an essential means of safeguarding land, livelihoods and resisting forced displacement.
In response, APN launched an urgent intervention to support farmers in the village of Kafr Ra'i after large areas of agricultural land were targeted by settler attacks, devastating cultivated fields.
As part of this intervention, APN distributed 4,200 stonefruit and cherry saplings, planted across 232 dunums of threatened farmland to restore production and reinforce farmers’ steadfastness. This initiative supports approximately 175 farming families whose livelihoods and long-term stability are primarily dependent on their land.
By recultivating damaged farmland, the project reinforces the capacity of frontline Palestinian communities to preserve agricultural land in the face of the occupation's attempted erasure.
