In continuation of the Million Tree Campaign programme in Palestine, APN launched its activities of the first half of 2023, under the heading “Freedom Trees” to plant 85,000 fruit-bearing trees ranging from olives to almonds, vines, grapes, and pomegranates in Palestinian governorates in an area covering 2,000 dunums owned by 700 farmer families consisting of 4,000 family members.

These trees bring the total number of trees planted by APN in Palestine at the end of 2022 to 2,676,666 fruitful trees since its launching two decades ago which protect more than 135,000 dunums from expropriation and restored reclamation and cultivation in the destroyed areas exposed to bombing.
