Building on our commitment to supporting local agricultural production and food sovereignty in the Arab region, APN planted 10 dunums of wheat in the town of Aitaroun in southern Lebanon, in an area located along the border strip. This initiative underscores the strategic importance of wheat cultivation as a staple crop for food sovereignty and a primary source of nourishment, particularly amid continued Israeli bombardment and the compounded economic and supply chain pressures it brings. The harvest is expected to provide flour for the family over the coming year in addition to supplying fodder for livestock.
