In the presence of ArabiaWeather's General Manager Fares Shaaban and APN’s General Manager Mariam Al-Jaajaa, APN signed a new Memorandum of Understanding with ArabiaWeather to broaden its areas of cooperation with organizations supporting the agricultural and environmental sectors as well as in support of its programs in the Arab world.

The signing of the MoU with ArabiaWeather comes as part of the APN’s Strategy for establishing strategic partnerships with public and private sector companies and organizations to enhance cooperation and provides mutual benefit to both parties and to society.

Within the framework of this partnership, each party has the opportunity to reach the audience of the other party in various effective ways through their respective websites and social media platforms. Moreover, awareness campaigns and activities will be created and published to protect the environment in creative and interactive ways, ensuring its reach to target groups and achieving the desired outcomes.

According to this agreement, APN will be able to access ArabiaWeather’s bank of information which will assist in the preparation of awareness and educational materials on planting trees and the environment. Additionally, ArabiaWeather will participate and support APN’s activities and campaigns for planting trees and supporting farmers in Jordan, Palestine, and the region, especially volunteer activities that support the local environment and Jordanian farms.

Notably, ArabiaWeather is the first weather platform in Jordan and the Arab world, and it has a focus on agriculture and the environment. APN is an independent and non-profit civil society organization, established in 2003, and has since planted over 2.7 million fruit trees in Jordan and Palestine.
