APN | Villages of Southern Jerusalem

In partnership with APN, the Arab Technical Group supported the planting of 400 fruit trees across villages in southern Jerusalem. The initiative is part of the Million Tree Campaign, which aims to protect Palestinian land and strengthen the steadfastness of local farmers.

This programme directly counters the ongoing policies of settlement expansion and the systematic uprooting of Palestinian villages. As settlers attempt to seize land and erase its identity, Palestinians respond by planting the roots of their belonging. The soil affirms their longstanding presence. The fruit sustains their foothold in a land that was never ceased, and refuses to surrender to a settler colonial entity.
