APN's “If Only You Knew” team led a hands-on session for 27 students from Modern Montessori School, exploring the importance of agriculture and its role in achieving food sovereignty. Students were also introduced to the work and achievements of APN.
During the session, students learned simple ways to grow seedlings at home for everyday use in meals before putting their knowledge into practice by planting thyme seedlings in pots of their own.
Building on what they had learned, 10 fifth-grade students later joined APN’s field activity alongside their mothers. Together, they planted 80 fruit trees in the Badr area in support of a local farmer, helping foster a sense of environmental stewardship and community responsibility.
