In Khan Al-Zabeeb, Al-Jizah, a small plot of land is being transformed into a source of lasting livelihood. As part of our ongoing efforts to support farming families and promote sustainable locally rooted agriculture, 150 fruit trees – made up of primarily local olive varieties – were planted across three dunums belonging to a family of five.
This initiative was implemented in partnership with KEO, whose employees joined the effort on the ground, planting the trees themselves as part of our Green Caravan programme. Their hands-on participation brought the spirit of partnership and social responsibility to life.
Beyond planting, these trees will support the family’s ability to invest in their land and cultivate a stable, long-term source of income. At the same time, the initiative expands green cover and reinforces agriculture as a viable, sustainable source of livelihood in rural communities.
