As part of the sixth "Ard" summer camp, organised by the Yarub Charity Development Association in partnership with BDS Jordan, we held an interactive workshop on "Green Resistance”.

Through hands-on activities aimed at sparking curiosity and active participation, students were introduced to the importance of agriculture, food sovereignty, and essential environmental concepts.

Bringing together 21 students, the camp sought to nurture active citizenship, leadership, and initiative among young people. In tandem, it sought to cultivate the values of teamwork, clear communication, openness to diverse perspectives, and broadening understandings of the natural world, providing students with practical skills to ground these values in service to the land and their communities. Additionally, the camp encouraged critical thinking and strategic problem-solving to prepare students for addressing environmental challenges both thoughtfully and effectively.
