During the final quarter of this year, our Revive Gaza’s Farmland project accomplished a wide range of activities, marked by the launch of its second phase, which introduced new components to the project, including:
- Planting 216.4 dunums with fast-growing vegetables benefiting 139 farmers.
- Planting approximately 5,260 olive trees across an estimated 143 dunums in various areas of the Gaza Strip, as part of our goal to plant 30,000 fruit-bearing trees.
- Cultivating 42 dunums of wheat and providing 52 beehives.
- Drilling a water well in central Gaza serving 50 agricultural dunums, rehabilitating “Al Wafa” well in the north serving 4,000 residents, and extending water networks.
