One of our steadfast farmers in the town of Wadi Fukin has shared images of his grape harvest—a moment of triumph marking a long journey of cultivation and green resistance. Over the past 12 years, we replanted this land in stages due to repeated attacks by settlers, including acts of deliberate sabotage, the most recent of which occurred just three years ago.
Despite ongoing assaults, the farmer remained unwavering in his commitment to bring his land back to life. Today, it bears fruit once again—a powerful testament to the will to resist, to live and to bear the fruits of one’s land in the face of the colonial machinery of destruction and displacement.
Our motto stands true: “They uproot one tree… we plant ten.”
As the rightful stewards of this land, no act of aggression will deter us or break our resolve.
