APN | Northern Jordan Valley

APN organised a planting activity in the Northern Jordan Valley, where 47 volunteers came together in support of Jordan’s farmers, placing the protection of land and local agriculture at the heart of community action.

Participants included 15 volunteers from APN, 12 students from Al Hussein Technical University, and 20 members of the Taekwondo team at Abu Ubaida Al Jarrah Taekwondo Academy in the Northern Jordan Valley. Working side by side, they planted 400 citrus trees for local farmers in the area.

The initiative supports farming families in strengthening agricultural production and securing more sustainable livelihoods, while at the same time, fostering a deeper sense of connection to the land and a culture of volunteerism among young people and students.
