The Head of the Department of Environment and Sustainable Development at the American University of Beirut, Dr. Shady Hamadeh, honored Razan Zuayter APN Chairperson and Founder of the Arab Network for Food Sovereignty, recognizing her as one of the "Keepers of the Land" during the university's Palestine Week activities. This acknowledgment followed Zuayter's lecture at the university titled "The Resisting Olive."

Each year, the university honors influential individuals in the agricultural, developmental, and scientific sectors as "keepers of the land," committed to its preservation.
