We carried out a number of activities in Lebanon toward the end of 2025, building on previous phases of the “Together for Lebanon’s Olives” project, which we launched last spring. The project aims to replant 8,000 dunums of land that were damaged in the southern Lebanese governorates and villages as a result of Israeli bombardment.
- In partnership with the Arab Network for Food Sovereignty and under the patronage of the Lebanese Minister of Environment, we launched an initiative to distribute and plant 10,000 local Surani olive trees for farmers in southern Lebanon most affected by Israeli bombardment. The initiative was implemented in cooperation with municipal unions of Bint Jbeil, Jabal Amil, and Tyre, alongside the Agricultural Movement and SIAC, during a well-attended public event.
- In support of food sovereignty in Lebanon, we planted 10 dunums of wheat in the town of Aitaroun in southern Lebanon, in an area located along the border with the occupation.
