The Jordanian–Korean Friendship Association in Amman organised a political and intellectual lecture delivered by APN Agricultural Advisor, Hassan Al Jaajaa, titled “The Struggle for Food Sovereignty: A People-Led Path”. The event was attended by the Korean Ambassador, members of the association, and a group of participants interested in environmental and agricultural issues. The lecture focused on the concept of food sovereignty as a liberatory and sovereign pathway, going beyond being merely a matter of agricultural production to a struggle over the right to land, water, and seeds, and as a fundamental pillar of people’s sumud (steadfastness) in the face of systematic policies of impoverishment and dependency.

APN Agricultural Advisor also delivered remarks during a webinar organised by ILPS West Asia and Africa, titled “Hands Off Venezuela and Iran!”. He explained that Western powers and the Zionist entity rely on “complex strategies” to target countries that reject hegemony, including fomenting internal divisions, supporting opposition groups, and turning peaceful protests into acts of violence – methods that have been observed in multiple protests across the region.
