GFAR is a multi-stakeholder global forum on agricultural research and innovation. APN represents Arab civil society in the GFAR Partners’ Assembly.

In 2016, APN spoke on behalf of global CSOs on a panel in the final session of the Third Global Conference on Agricultural Research and Development and expressed that the Arab region is disproportionately affected by low global investment on agricultural research.
