The Arab Group for the Protection of Nature’s Green Caravan arrived to Hawarat area in the central Jordan Valley. The APN’s volunteers planted hundreds of diverse trees of citrus and guava on the farmer’s land, Abdel Murat, with the support of STS PayOne, on Saturday, October 23, 2021.
Mariam Al Jaajaa, the general manager of the Arab Group for the Protection of Nature, said the project aims to provide an additional source of income for farmers' families in an effort to alleviate poverty and unemployment and enhance food security, particularly in the valleys’ region.

"This project is a strategic project that will be impacted after 3 years, that citrus cultivation as a local product has economic implications, and will help offer 3 jobs for additional farmers, which will alleviate the frustration affecting farmers today due to low returns," said beneficiary farmer Abdul Hawart.
