From Jenin to Hebron, Our Trees Resist Settlement Expansion and Strengthen Farmers’ Steadfastness on the Land

Driven by a firm belief that supporting frontline farming communities to remain rooted in their land constitutes the first line of defense against settlement expansion and land confiscation, APN continues to implement agricultural projects across various Palestinian villages and cities.

This comes amid a continuous escalation in settlement expansion across Palestine, where the occupation imposes suffocating restrictions on farmers and prevents them from accessing their lands, in addition to the uprooting and bulldozing of trees, and the rising attacks by settlers against both land and people.

In this context, APN carried out an urgent intervention to support farmers in the village of Kafr Ra’i, which included the provision of 4,200 stone fruit and cherry saplings planted across 232 dunums of threatened agricultural land.

Additionally, 460 stone fruit and grape trees were planted in Bani Na’im in Hebron with support from Medlabs.

We also planted 257 stone fruit trees in Halhul over an area of 5 dunums owned by three farmers located along the bypass road, supported by the “Together for Umi” Foundation.
