Following the successful response to APN’s appeal by its supporters and their unwavering support to the farmers in protecting their lands from confiscation through the "Wheat of Resilience" campaign, a plentiful harvest was sowed from 500 dunums of land in Tubas, a Palestinian town in the Northern Jordan Valley.

The plea made by the farmers arises from their urgent necessity, as their agricultural lands face constant attacks from the Zionist occupation and settlers. For them, abandoning agriculture would inevitably lead to land expropriation. Consequently, the farmers warmly embraced this project with great enthusiasm, offering their dedicated efforts to ensure its success. They also expressed a strong desire for its continuation in the upcoming seasons.

The farmers extended an invitation to APN's team to join them in the harvesting and grinding of wheat. As a gesture of gratitude, the families benefiting from the wheat cultivation campaign warmly welcomed the team, offering them loaves of locally baked wheat bread. This gesture served as a testament to their self-sufficiency and reliance on their own agricultural produce.

APN Chairperson of the Board, Razan Zuayter, highlighted the significance of the "Wheat of Resilience" campaign in Tubas, which was launched earlier this year. She emphasized that this campaign serves as a sustainable initiative aimed at safeguarding lands from confiscation. Under this project, a portion of the harvested produce will be designated for distribution among the farmers, while another portion will be allocated to support underprivileged families and ensure their food security.
