Upon receiving an invitation from LOYAC – Jordan, and as part of the ongoing collaboration between APN and LOYAC’s branches in Kuwait and Lebanon, an interactive session was convened with LOYAC's volunteers in Amman. The session, titled "We Plant Resilience and Resist with Trees", featured a presentation by our team highlighting the significance of our four programmes, our perspective on food sovereignty versus food security, and the challenges encountered by Jordanian farmers. Furthermore, the presentation highlighted the adverse effects of foreign-funded projects on the agricultural sector in the Global South, including Jordan, emphasizing the importance of revitalizing the agricultural sector while integrating environmental considerations rather than isolating them.

The session was marked by enthusiastic engagement, with discussions revolving around opportunities for volunteering with APN. Plans were also explored for organizing a collaborative agricultural activity with LOYAC volunteers and local farmers in marginalized areas.
