APN provided introductory sessions to groups of young people at the summer camp organized by the Yarmouk Scout Group (August 19, 2019).

The sessions tackled the current environmental challenges in Jordan and the region. They are part of the “If Only You Know” campaign launched in 2012 to raise awareness around agricultural and environmental risks. APN’s representative, Deyar Muhaisen, presented two sessions to two teams from Yarmouk Scout Group: Advanced Team and Cubs Team (aged between 6 and 14 years).

She stressed on the importance of respecting nature and the need to learn the necessary skills to interact with it. She often referred to the solutions suggested by APN’s campaigns in local communities.Additionally, APN presented an awareness lecture on the importance of agriculture and its benefits to the International Academy School students in response to their invitation to participate in the Community Service Day (June 16, 2019).
