While farmer Khalil is determined to protect his land which is encircled from three sides by settlements in the villages near Jerusalem, and is insistent on his firm attachment to it and cultivates it irrespective of the difficulties facing him, his determination was met with a noble contribution from the family of the late Tarek Jadallah, who sponsored the planting of 200 trees implemented by APN to counteract the actions of the settlers and their quest to expropriate the land of the farmer who sent a message of gratitude and love in which he stated that he and his family are like the trees rooted in the soil.
