APN joined by Al-Balqaa Creativity Institute have launched an agricultural project to plant ten thousand fruit tree saplings in fifteen villages in Al-Salt governorate. The 'Hakoura Bayouda project2' was launched on October 25th in cooperation with the local community.

The project aims to achieve self-sufficiency in some crops, raise farmers' income, and increase the green area. The cultivation activity was part of APN's Green Caravan program. It witnessed a wide interaction by the villagers and farmers, with about 50 volunteers participating in distributing saplings to dozens of homes.

The first phase of the project included distribution of 700 saplings to about 70 houses, with ten trees per house. APN's general manager Mariam Al-Jaajaa, said the project comes after the great success of the Hakoura Bayoudah 1 project where the Group in cooperation with the institute planted about 6,200 trees in 620 homes in 2017. Ilham Al-Abadi, the institute’s representative said she is proud to cooperate with APN in an effort to benefit the local community and push for its agricultural advancement.

The institute's goals include building an ecological socio-economic system based on decentralization and understanding the society's needs through studies and surveys carried out by the institute and its team. APN’s Green Caravan Program aims to empower Jordanian farmers, increase the green area and reduce desertification.
