The Arab Group for the Protection of Nature (APN) participated in a radio interview through “Give me the Recipe” program that is broadcasted on Yaqeen radio station (17th July). The aim of the interview was to discuss the Israeli aggressions on the natural resources in Palestine.

Mohammad Qtaishat, APN’s Project Manager, stressed on the importance of confronting the Israeli occupation that is targeting the Palestinian agricultural sector.

He also referred to the presence of a systematic war that involves cutting and burning down trees, especially olive, due to its significance as a symbol of resilience. Qtaishat explained that the “Million Tree Campaign” in Palestine, one of the most prominent activities of the organization, has become a green resistance movement against the agricultural terrorism practiced by the occupation.

APN has transformed the anger over the Israeli war on agriculture in Palestine into an opportunity. It has succeeded in planting more than 2,366,297 fruit-bearing trees across Palestine since its inception in 2003.

This number makes up a considerable proportion of the total number of trees planted in Palestine.
