APN launched its agricultural season this year with a special planting activity (Friday 27 September 2019) in the Al-Balawneh Area - Central Jordan Valley. The activity brought together more than 40 volunteers of different ages who planted 200 fruitful citrus trees.

Mohammad Qtaishat, APN’s Project Manager, stated that the new season holds a list of activities targeting many locations including the Central, Southern and Northern Jordan Valley, Madaba, Aqaba, Maan and Irbid. During this season, APN is aiming to plant more than 15,000 fruitful trees over the next six months. The Green Caravan, a program launched by APN 17 years ago, seeks to empower Jordanian small-scale farmers and enhance food security.
