APN | Southern Jordan Valley

Through a grant from the Association Support Fund, APN’s Green Caravan completed the second phase of an agricultural project in Southern Jordan Valley which included the distribution of 8 beehives to beekeepers in the area.

At the end of last year, the first phase was completed by planting 1,350 fruit trees, including guava and citrus, on 47.5 dunums in the southern Jordan Valley, belonging to 11 farmers supporting 75 individuals.

The project represents support to the local community in the region, empowering them to invest in the fertile land in Jordan's food basket and enhance the agricultural sector.
