As a member of the Jordanian Federation for Environmental NGOs , APN participated in its meeting on  Defining Environmental Policies and Strategies which was held on Dec 18-19 2016 at the Intercontinental Hotel in Aqaba.

The workshop was organized as part of the Capacity building and Environmental Governance Project supported by the Small Grants Programme of the UN and Ministry of Social Development.Board Member Razan Zuayter gave a brief on APN’s programmes and achievements. She also stressed during the meeting that the federation must impose its role as a partner in setting priorities, shaping domestic and international policies, implementing and monitoring programmes. “This requires that we have the political will to work as a team” she said.APN volunteer Hanan Aruri also attended the workshop and she stressed that the federation should primarily focus on creating a representative and institutionalized collective platform.
