On the 76th commemoration of the Nakba, APN Chairperson was invited to deliver the closing remarks for a solidarity webinar titled “From Palestine to the World: Our Land, Our Resistance!” organized by the Peoples Coalition on Food Sovereignty (PCFS).

Reflecting on a turbulent history of struggle and persistence, Zuayter recounted the enduring resilience of Palestinians following the Nakba in 1948, despite being forcibly displaced. Palestinians have demonstrated unwavering resistance for over a century. Zuayter proceeded to offer recommendations for countering settler colonial strategies, including combatting colonial indoctrination, and colonial terminology, supporting BDS campaigns, and pursuing legal action against Israel. She also underscored ongoing initiatives by the Palestinian community, such as APN's “Revive Gaza’s Farmland” project which was launched to combat the siege and manufactured famine. Concluding her remarks, Zuayter expressed gratitude for collective resistance and hope, which are spreading like watermelon seeds worldwide.
