The untimely passing of the young Alia Samir Anwar Elmosa in a distant land during her time in the diaspora weighed heavily on the Palestinian community. However, the gracious gesture carried out by her family has transformed grief into a story of steadfastness that will forever honor her memory.

The story begins with the family's determination to ensure that Alia's memory remains vivid even in her absence. They reached out to APN which carried out an exceptional initiative in the south of Jerusalem through the Million Tree Campaign (MTC). This initiative took place despite the occupation's persistent attempts to uproot and displace the inhabitants.

APN planted 200 fruit trees, including grapes and olives, on a land belonging to an agricultural family that faces numerous daily harassments, including the denial of access routes to reach their own land. Nonetheless, their spirit of resilience refused to succumb to such directives. They forged their own path to reach their besieged orchard, which was under the threat of confiscation. On foot and utilizing animals, they transported trees and water. With genuine warmth, farmer Nabil's face lights up with joy as he lovingly kisses the olive tree and his mother, who joined in the cultivation alongside the family.
