As one of the founding members of the Coordination Committee Against Importing Gas from Israel, APN arranged a number of meetings with the Jordanian Engineers Association and the Jordanian Agricultural Engineers Association in order to unify civil society efforts against the import of gas from Israel.

These meetings culminated with the inclusion of the Jordanian Professional Association in the Coordination Committee that includes BDS Jordan, Tammey , Masar Taharori, among others.

Furthermore, APN helped promote a petition prepared by the Coordination Committee against the import of gas, which was signed by thousands of Jordanians, and has been submitted to the Prime Minister in a parliament session that was attended by a delegation from the committee including APN. A number of other activities were also organized mainly press conferences which were held in the Professional Associations Complex on November 6th and December 7th, and a protest at the national electricity company on Sunday, November 16th.

A delegation from APN participated also in rallies, which started from the Husseini mosque. Additionally, APN contributed towards a detailed study prepared by the Coordination Committee in partnership with energy expert Mika Minio-Paluello of "Platform", a London-based centre specialising in energy affairs, which describes the details of the transaction, which will grant the Israeli government $8.4 billion.
