As part of the 3rd Million Tree Campaign implemented by APN in coordination with its partners in Palestine, APN launched the "Jordan Valley – Jericho seedlings" planting project in cooperation with Palestinian Farmers’ Union and funded by the Welfare Association to plant 26,000 fruit seedlings of grapes, olives, pomegranate, guava and citrus trees.

The project includes building three water collection pools of 3,000 cubic meters capacity each. Furthermore, irrigation networks and winter vegetable seedlings shall be provided to around 15 dunums in order to avail quick income sources for farmers.It is noteworthy that the 3rd Million Tree Campaign is implemented under the supervision and funding of APN and partners to plant more than 54,000 seedlings in Palestine this year, rehabilitate 50 greenhouses in Gaza, re-build broken boats in Gaza, provide 100 fishing nets, digging 10 water wells for irrigation and creating 3 large water collection pools. These projects shall assist more than 7,000 households and employ 450 unemployed persons.
