APN, represented by a delegation consisting of Engineer Razan Zuayter, Engineer Farah Kaddoura and Engineer Mohammad Qtaishat participated in Al-Hima Forum (Pledge and Promise) for the sustainability of natural resources and rehabilitation of dry land for west Asia that was organized in Amman during the period 6-7 May 2014.

The Forum was organized by IUCN regional office for west Asia, in cooperation with Ministry of Agriculture, Al-Hima Fund and European Union for the purpose of maintaining dry land of the West Asia region in order to protect and best utilize natural resources and avoid degradation.

In addition, it advocated for the adoption of the Al-Hima system in the near future as one of the best possible solution to protect resources in the Middle East region. Al-Hima is the oldest pastoral system in the world that aims to protect and maintain pastor from over-use through depending on local citizens, organizing best use of land and preventing its over-use.
