In support of agriculture and farmers at the Jordan Valley, APN visited the tent of condolences of agriculture and farmers that was established by the Jordanian Farmers Association on June 2nd at Deir Alla and on June 8th – 10th in Amman.

The purpose of the tent was to shed light on violations and injustice that Jordanian farmers and the agricultural sector faces.

Engineer Razan Zuayter, on behalf of APN and the Arab Network for Food Sovereignty, spoke in the rally and stressed her support for this event which she called the uprising of justice and the tent of land, freedom and dignity. Furthermore, she stressed the importance of standing in front of the "assassination of agriculture" and the systematic approach of destroying Jordan's food security and sovereignty over national resources.

Engineer Zuayter demanded that the title of the tent to be replaced to become the Tent of Advocacy for food and agriculture reclamation. She asked for sustaining the joint work in order to protect and maintain sovereignty over national resources.
