APN's annual ceremony celebrates the launch of the 3rd Million Tree Campaign

To celebrate its achievements in Jordan and launch the Third Million Tree Campaign in Palestine, APN held its Annual Dinner on the 6th of December at the Intercontinental Hotel with the presence of more than 800 supporters. Participants were of all ages, from the youngest APN volunteer who is 8 years old, to artists and journalists.

APN conducts a press conference to mark the beginning of the 3rd Million Tree Campaign in Palestine

In a press conference conducted at APN offices with the presence of more than 20 media institutions, APN president, Engineer Razan Zuayter announced the launch of the 3rd Million Tree Campaign in Palestine. Zuayter stated that more than two million olive and fruit trees were planted in almost 105 dunums. Around 21 thousand farmers, supporting about 172 thousand individuals

APN partners with a number of organizations against the import of gas from Israel

As one of the founding members of the Coordination Committee Against Importing Gas from Israel, APN arranged a number of meetings with the Jordanian Engineers Association and the Jordanian Agricultural Engineers Association in order to unify civil society efforts against the import of gas from Israel.

Attended by APN, the Conference gathered presidents of professional unions and members of Parliament, in addition to members of the Coordination Committee against Importing Gas from Israel.

Start implementation of "Jordan Valley – Jericho seedlings" planting project

As part of the 3rd Million Tree Campaign implemented by APN in coordination with its partners in Palestine, APN launched the "Jordan Valley – Jericho seedlings" planting project in cooperation with Palestinian Farmers’ Union and funded by the Welfare Association to plant 26,000 fruit seedlings of grapes, olives, pomegranate, guava and citrus trees.

APN Launches the “Jerusalem Neighborhoods II" project

As part of the 3rd Million Tree Campaign, APN, in partnership with International Islamic Charitable Organization and Al-Nahda Rural Society, launched a project to plant 6,000 fruit seedlings in villages surrounding Jerusalem.In addition, APN dug 2 water wells for irrigation in Qibya and Beit Ixa Villages. Both villages' lands are threatened with confiscation by Israeli occupation forces.
